My ... They've come a LONG Way!

Here are a couple BEFORE and NOW photos of the boys and their DziaDzio (English to Polish translator says this is how you spell it ..... just doesn't look right to me ... but that's what it says!). There is one thing for sure that I can say ... He sure loves his grandsons! They sure like learning how to use his tools and then sitting with him in his chair. And .... I think DziaDzio sure enjoys showing them how to use the tools and relaxing with them as well! Looking at these pictures, I just cannot believe how quickly time passes by! It seems just like yesterday when GRANT was born .... and now we have Gavin who is almost 2 1/2! It's nuts! But looking at the joy that these boys have brought to us and our families...it's just wonderful!

Priming .... One Step Closer!

So, we have primed our basement walls. I still have to spackle some areas going up the stairs, and get that primed, but the MAIN AREA IS PRIMED and just about ready to paint. Todd still has some items to clear out of the basement, but once those are moved ... Painting here we come! We had the boys help us prime the walls. That was quite an experience ... goodness was it! I think we had more primer on the floor than on the walls, but they had a good time! I didn't even have to get my roller back into the primer for quite some time! Here are some shots of the boys in their painting gear and equipment in hand!

Show Me How the Little Piggies Eat!

Gavin LOVES his ice cream sandwiches! Well, he flat out LOVES ice cream! But, then again ... who doesn't? He has an interesting way of eating these tasty treats too! He opens the packaging and then pulls off the top cookie. If he can ... he'll flip it over and remove the lower cookie as well. He eats these two items first and THEN....he dives in for the rest! I guess he saves the best part for last.
