Ummm.....

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what Gavin thinks this is today, but he sure does have an imagination! He is trying every which way he can to fit into this box! Oh, to have a camera that would just snap snap snap away while he was doing that so you could see every different position he's tried to fit into it! I could take a video, but I don't think it would upload due to size!

My First Mobile Post

So, Todd told me that I could start posting pictures from my phone to my blog. He has started his own blog that he posts to solely from his phone. I thought this was pretty cool, and figured I would give it a shot. Now, my phone does not take pictures that are anywhere near the quality of Todd's, but I figured...why not give it a shot and see how it turns out. I probably won't do this too often because I HATE pecking out a post on my phone, but for a quick peek at what's going on with Our Little Men, I just might find it handy!

Here is a special moment I'm not getting too much of today. Garrett asleep in his cradle. He appears to be a little stuffed up today, which might be why he isn't sleeping too well like this. He will sleep for MAYBE 20 minutes, and then wake up crying! Yes, can you say speed eating, peeing and changing laundry?!?! Ugh! But, thankfully, I'm still in the recovery portion of my post pregnancy so I don't feel AS BAD if I don't get too much done! But, I don't want to constantly hold the littlest G because I can't turn him into a "hold me, hold me, hold me!!" baby! G2 (Gavin) would never stand for that when he's home with me and G3 (Garrett).

So.....we'll see how he does with the sleeping. I'll be putting him down as soon as I calm him and he falls back asleep in my arms and just plan on NOT getting anything accomplished today! :)

And....just and FYI.....I emailed this the first time to my cousin's wife...I'm thinking I'm gonna need some practice with this! :). That's one strike for me and posting via my Blackberry!!

On Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 10:11 a.m. we welcomed our newest little man! His name is Garrett Karol Male. He weighed in at 9 lbs. 9 oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long! It was quite an exciting day! We arrived at the hospital at 8:00 a.m. and they started prepping me for the surgery. Our parents and my brother, Danny, arrived around 9:00. My c-section was supposed to start at 10:00, but since there weren't any others scheduled, and nothing that would prevent us from starting on time, they took us in early! Everything went very well! Here are a few pictures from our big day .... I hope that you enjoy them!

The boys are loving having a new little brother! I was a little nervous, but they are really doing great with this! Grant and Gavin came up to see me every day that I was in the hospital and they have just been so excited to see Garrett. The first thing Grant did was take his coat off, wash his hands, and say "where's the baby?"... "Can I hold the baby?". It was really sweet. Gavin has even gotten into holding him and wanting to hug and kiss him! It's been a nice surprise!

Guitar Hero with Family

The boys, Dzia Dzia, Bushi, and Uncle Danny had a great time playing Guitar Hero last Sunday! Grant couldn't wait to have Uncle Danny come over and show him a thing or two ... I really think he wanted Uncle Danny to unlock some more songs, but they had a great time playing anyway. Grant LOVES the game, and he LOVES his Uncle Danny so, it was a perfect match!

Dzia Dzia and Bushi even joined in the fun! Dzia Dzia played drums ... while Bushi played the guitar! It sure looked like they were having a lot of fun, so I wanted to share a couple of pictures from the game!

Gavin Turns THREE!

Our little man, Gavin, turned three on February 10th. We had a wonderful gathering of family here at the house and it was a fun time! Gavin picked out his birthday cake which was made to look like his favorite pair of big boy pants! He was so excited to see it ... and since he is using them exclusively now ... it was really quite fitting. Two great milestones documented in one cake!

Gavin had a great time with all of his family surrounding him! Happy Birthday Gavin!
