4 Month Visit

Garrett had his 4 month visit today. I cannot believe how fast this time is going!! He weighed in at 20 lbs even and he is 27 1/4 inches long (both are in the 97th to 98th percentile for his age!). He is growing so fast.

The doctor looked at his eye, and if the drops don't keep the gunk away, we have to call an opthomologist and have his duct probed open at 5 months. I'm really hoping that it goes away because I really don't want to have that done. But, if it doesn't, I know we have to do what we have to do.

The doctor also said that we could start introducing him to cereal and some fruits and vegetables at 5 months of age IF we don't have a history of allergies and he shows interest. He shows interest in food already, so I'm sure we'll see what he thinks when that 5 month mark rolls around.

Speaking of rolling around, Garrett has been rolling from his stomach to his back, and I've seen him roll from his back to his stomach!! He is sitting up pretty good with some assistance and he is "talking". Oh how he is talking!! I think once he starts saying words he'll be like Gavin (you'll never get him to be quiet!!).

We took the boys on our first family vacation to visit with Aunt Gwen and Uncle Buzz in Alabama. When I get my pictures downloaded I'll post them and tell you all about it. The boys did really well in the car, and they had a blast visiting. They can't waiy to go back!!

Well, that's it for now. I'll post more soon!
